My handheld pepper grinder died on me so I wanted to upgrade to an electric one and this one looked promising!PROSsuper easy to use!sleek designCONSthe adjuster on the bottom to adjust the coarseness of the pepper does not work on mine. I tried turning it left and right to see if it would get finer and it only shot out a variety of sizes no matter which way I turned the lever. Turning it all the way to the right did produce a few more finely ground pepper, but chunks still came out.I'll have to play with it a little more to see if i can get it to work properly, but as of now, it does not grind the pepper in consistent coarseness. Some are big, some are small.Also the 4 AAA batteries required are not included so make sure to have them on hand or add a set of AAA batteries with this if you are giving it as a gift. Easy to use and has a window so you can see how much peppercorn is in the grinder.I personally love pepper and put way too much pepper on everything and also need it to be freshly ground (I’m a weirdo who likes pepper what can I say), so I’ve been in the market for an automatic pepper grinder for a while and this one is exactly what I hoped for! I forgot to take photos of the actual grinder once you have it set up, but it is just like the photo and is nice and sleek and good quality. It was really easy to get set up and put what you need in there, there’s a little cover you can slide off and easily load pepper/salt into.I was a little bummed to see they do not provide batteries so make sure you have 4 triple A batteries when you get it. But overall, it’s a really nice item and I’m excited to use it and over season everything now!I hadn’t had an electric grinder in some time so I thought I would give it a shot.It does the job is all I can say, I crack my pepper very corse for the items I use it on and it had no problem doing that. Once the batteries die I will probably just go back to my hand grinder as I can do it faster. The light function is just meh in my opinion.This is a great item for a first time renter or home buyer who has nothing for their kitchen. It did not blow my socks off but it also does the job!This grinder is very sleek looking and goes well with my kitchen! It takes 4 AAA batteries so make sure to have those on hand. I only gave 3 stars as even with adjustments, I am unable to change from course grinding.I have always wanted an electric grinder. So glad I ordered this. It is so sleek and so handy and no more hand grinding for me! I bought one to see how much better it would be. I am currently using it for my pepper, but will buy another for my sea salt.I like the light on the bottom so you can see how much pepper is going on your food.
