This salt and pepper shaker was purchased to give to my husband's grandfather as a gift filled with ground chili pepper and habanero pepper. The grandfather lives near the Gulf and moisture is a really big problem that they deal with everyday so we got this shaker since it has two compartments and is water tight so that moisture will not affect the quality and consistency of the pepper. The design is really neat and is really well constructed.I dont know why people complain how small it is. I am super happy about the size. Its light, doesn't take up too much room in my ultralight cook kit and it holds enough salt and pepper for at least a weeks worth of meals. The shaker weighs in on my scale at 25g with both sides FULL.Very convenient, I carry mine every day. I don't use it for salt/pepper, instead I use it for crushed hot ( Trinidad Scorpion ) pepper. Liked it so much, I bought three just incase I loose one.There was a problem with the lids splitting but customer service send out a replacement and stated the problem was fixed. Good work GSI.Awesome dual chamber salt/pepper shaker. Great to keep in your lunchbox to add flavor to your food. Probably not ideal for camping unless you only go for the weekend. Great for the lunchbox.Scale is key. This is only about 1” tall. Exactly what I wanted. Double sided (2 compartments). Top screws off and has easily removable plastic perforated lid and another larger holed one under the orange bottom.This salt and pepper shaker is awesome. I bought if for my 6 year old to take in her lunch box for eggs, etc.. The fact that it's tiny is a bonus for us. Not sure why there are complaints about that. The whole point is that it's a tiny salt and pepper shaker! Love it!Best camping or travel salt shaker I've ever had. Keeps the salt well contained and does not spill out like some of the others.This thing is great for a lunch bag, it's light and small. Holds about enough S&P to use around three times.This is a light & dinky salt & pepper holder. From the photo I thought it might split into 2 seperate holders around a central base, which in my opinion would have been better, but in fact it is a single unit with 2 compartments for salt & pepper. This arrangement means it is a bit fiddly to fill the salt without spilling into the pepper - I covered one side with my thumb. Under the lid there is a clip on plastic top with holes on one side for shaking through, I suspect it would easy to lose this, so take care.Great Little item , just don't overscrew lid like I did cos will split ,so Gotta get another one ,but my faultWell made salt and pepper dispenser but really small so fiddly to refill.Great salt shaker for packed lunchLeider ist der Deckel nicht pass-genau gefertigt, was zwei Probleme verursaucht:1. Salz und Pfeffer vermischen sich, da sie bei geschlossenem Deckel aus der einen Kammer heraus und in die andere Kammer hinein fallen. Der halbseitig geöffnete Einsatz verrutscht beim Transport und verhindert das leider nicht!2. Der Verschluss: Das Außengewinde des Streuers ist länger als das Innengewinde des Deckels, was zur Folge hatte, das es leicht überdreht werden konnte und der Deckel gebrochen ist.
