I have been wanting these sandals in red for the past two seasons and they are always sold out of my size! This year I was ahead of my game and ordered them early, before spring/summertime. I wear a women's size 9 and the Big Kid size 7 is perfect. I posted my new sandals on social media and received many, many "likes" so I'm sure a few of my friends are going to order them too!I tried the Original Saltwater Sandal, and unfortunately for my size 7.5 foot, a size 7 was too short, and the size 8 fit in length but the toe straps felt loose. I went for the Classic style in a size 8, and these fit in length and I am able to adjust the toe part to fit my foot. I also like that if for some reason my feet swell, I can loosen the toe area as well. These shoes are well-made, but are not the super comfortable sandal that I have heard some claim them to be. They also are not uncomfortable. I feel they are adequate. The sole is thick enough to protect your foot, but still if flexes as needed. I feel as though I can wear these for outings where I will be do a mixture of walking and sitting, but do not think they will be my first choice if I am planning to be walking all day long. I am a fan of a more cushioned sole as opposed to a flat sandal such as these. Right out the package, the straps were a bit stiff and I debated sending them back, but went ahead and soaked them in water, and that step really helped soften the leather and made the straps feel much better on my foot. I do not own/want many pairs of shoes, so what I do have needs to fit well, and these are basic and neutral enough to fit everything in my comfy-casual summer wardrobe.Nice shoesMy brother and I used to get a new pair of Salt Waters every summer when we were kids and I still love wearing them today! My last pair took me to many outdoor festivals and concerts, rain or shine and will take me to many more. I love my new pair and even wear them to work!I'm an adult with a short, wide foot. I got a kids' 3 and 2 (!) in these. I usually wear an women's 5, if the width is ok-- many shoes are too narrow. These looked like they could work because of the adjustable straps, and yes, they're pretty great. The 3 was a little better width-wise, but kind of long. The 2 is perfect length-wise, but very fitted. I dislike wearing sandals with too much length hanging in front of the toes, so I'm keeping the 2s and trying to stretch them out with the suggested water method. They're really quite comfortable, overall! Nice leather, nicely made. The reason for the missing star is for the length of the straps. I have the buckles on the very last hole. The ankle strap is just a tad too tight. I hope it stretches. I've seen other reviewers have had the same problem, whether adults or children are wearing the shoes. Maybe the Saltwater company could consider lengthening the ankle strap by a centimeter or two?I’m an adult who often wears a kids size 6 (women’s 8) because I have wide feet. Kid styles are often cut a bit wider than women’s offerings. These particular sandals have the advantage of having an adjustable instep strap which the adult version does not.I’m delighted to report that these sandals are plenty wide enough and very comfortable. I love their vintage look! They have zero arch support or heel drop but those are pluses to me.I had to order a few times to get the right size, here run a tad smaller than the originals (no toe buckle). I manage a salon and am in my feet all day and these somehow do not bother my feet or my back, they’re comfy and supportive. My daughters both have big had several pairs of these in ever size. Here are the best quality and will last a life time if you don’t outgrown them. I wear a perfect size 8 generally but ordered these in size 9, I have very narrow feet so while they look wide in me they won’t be on you unless you have narrow feet too. Thats what makes this style with the toe buckle so amazing.Very deceiving. Hoy, the company that makes Saltwater Sandals, states made in St Louis, MO. Nope, made in China- the same place that boils dogs and cats alive! Had I known beforehand I would not have bought! Had been wanting a pair of these sandals for years and finally got around to buying the "Classic" in "Mustard" which is a nice versatile yellow. I wear a US women's 7 so ordered the 5 and they fit very well. At first they rubbed my arch quite a bit as the leather is quite hard but as the instructions stated I wet them then wore them as they dried. This softened them a bit.One shoe I can only buckle once across ankle, other shoe, must buckle 2 or 3 notches down. Comfortable for general day wear but since no cushioning I wouldn't advise wearing walking in all day. I didn't buy for that purpose though. Bought them to be in water with my dog and for general wear. Bring back to making in the US please and put people before greed and profits!Wie erwartet!?Sandales hyper confortables et résistantes à l'eau de mer.
